Libya Turmoil 100

Dear Readers,

I am just back from the hospital where I was conducted 3 days ago, totally breathless.
I have never been treated more like royalty than in this 1200 bed hospital and I have never seen more professional service and dedication in such difficult times.
I came out with the assurance that I had only a bout of pneumonia which I didn't pay attention to since months.
The pneumonia took revenge.
I always thought that a little cough couldn't hold me down, I was wrong.
Anyway, if ever you need a quick solution to a major health problem, I know the place to go to.
The clincher: it's free of charge.
So from now on for a couple of days I will write slowly.-)))

The tribe gathering was for a total of 61 tribes.
It happened in the city of Zlituna. not far from Misurata.
The tribes are ready to go for an all out war, but Gaddafi is holding them back, he is still trying to limit bloodshed.
Not bad for a bloodthirsty tyrant, no???

Notwithstanding the criminal attack on Gaddafi's residence, costing many lives, the exact number comes tomorrow, not one single civilian left the compound, there must be about 5000 people anytime of the day. Not one woman, child or man left the compound and they are still singing and dancing every night.
The only people complaining are the foreign workers.

Tomorrow an article about a female journalist who left the Arab Al Jazeerah in disgust and spilled the beans live on Libyan TV today. She is Arab and I asked for a translation.

By the way welcome to the Russian readers here, your numbers  are 3 times the total numbers of all other countries together, I knew you were smart:-)))

  6. Your blog appears to be at odds with the French version.

That is being pushed as a vote against Gaddafi.

Not being able to read arabic script I am unable to comment.

At the bottom are a number of scanned signatures. Obviously there is only one page, in French, which is purported to be the "message".

Thank you for pointing this out.
Since the writer of this piece is Bernard Henry Levi, you can already say it's a lie, the man simply is unable to tell the truth, even about the weather.
In any case I will give more info about this tomorrow after some checking. It's better to make sure because most people here don't know BHL like he prefers to be known.
He pretended for years to be the personal friend since 20 years of Ahmed Shah Massood, until a serious journalist asked Massood who answered that he only met BHL one time for 5 minutes.
He also wrote a book about Daniel Pearl's murder pretending to have most info from Pearl's French widow. The widow denied this and refused to meet the pathological liar ever again .
But yes I will reconfirm everything and thanks again, omly the truth can beat this murderous plot.

Why do you think so many Russians are "with Al Gaddafi"? And why is he such a hero to people like yourself and many of your fellow countrymen and women? Thanks.

There is already something very strange about this.
The pro-Gaddafi reunion of the 61 tribes was composed of hundreds of people and happened in front of the Libyan TV live on the 24th of April.
Now BHL speaks also of 61 tribes on a picture of
6 people with his highness included.
61 tribes assembled in a farm? 61 tribes chiefs and elders are hundreds of people.
I see the lie already half exposed and a blatant one. By the way he speaks about the 12th of April and by accident it's also 61 tribes.
Further I cannot find the date this article was posted, only yesterday? That would be convenient, why didn't he talk about it before?
    I am checking further.

I shall reply to you, brother. These are not just my thoughts but its what I read and hear in everyday conversations. I am from Moscow and hear it everyday in discussions everywhere. The question "why"- the answer is we can see clearly that an international crime is being committed in Libya. AL Gaddafi is the only national leader who did not give up his country and his people into the hands of foreign aggressors and proclaimed his readiness to die for his people. And he is WINNING though all of NATO are against him. We are for TRUTH. And TRUTH is on Brother Leader's side.

For more information of how many Russians support Gaddafi check facebook and other sources, for example

  13. Gadaffi is supported by the majority of the Libyan people, but there is a huge western media game set up to criminalise him.. if someone is interested to see how it was done, can check-out these 2 links:

  16. Hermes MS,

First, very glad to hear you're feeling better.

Second, this is very much a blantant case of journalistic malpractice committed against not only the truth and Libyan people, but also against the better interests of the citizens of the democracies who are being dragged into this foreign intervention against a sovereign state.

As I have pointed out before, one only has to read the wikileaks cables dealing with Libya to understand how flagrantly unethical and incompetent the Western powers are who have engaged in this action. Those cables, as well as other open sources, prove without a doubt that the interventionist powers are knowingly engaged in assisting individuals who were until recently killing or attempting to kill American soldiers in Iraq.

The cynicism and corruption driving this little adventure in Libya no doubt has a familiar ring to it for Russians. Yes, many of the do-gooders and their feigned humanitarian concerns sound like a bad dream from the 90s. Look for the nation builders i.e., contractors, international NGOs and UN agencies to start tapping into those seized/released Libyan assets to fund their good works in a country leveled by the international community to prevent a humantarian disaster.

  17. Hello

Thanks you for the information on Libya among lie streams. From myself I can tell that the majority of the population of Russia supports your struggle against a double-faced alliance and local renegades. Successes to your people in this fair business! Victories of Libya!

  19. From reading public comments under many English newspapers online articles and skynews online, my impression is that the majority of English people have understood that the 'humanitarian' intervention is a lie, they think we should not be taking sides, that it is unfair and a big mess. They do not like what the government is doing. Many remember Iraq and the lies issued by the media as justification for war, and papers proving this have just been released to the media.
I also read the Figaro and many French people seem to feel the same it seems. CAM

Thanks you for your prompt and coherent response.

I'm still struggling to get a handle on this "Brother Leader" stuff and the claim that Gaddafi is the only national leader who did not give up his country and his people into the hands of foreign aggressors. Tell me, would you and like-minded Russians (I'm assuming you are Russian) include the likes of Fidel Castro, Kim Jong-il, Bashar Assad or Iran's Ahmedinejad in a pantheon of "Brother Leaders", or is Gaddafi a special case (no pun intended)?

    Thanks.

My friends here are working very hard on the reaction by video.
As soon as they are ready in max. 3 days you will get it first.
I am counting on Wendy to distribute it on her blog in French. And everybody else in their own language.
I will also have the translation of the 2 hour video of the Arabic female journalist who left Al Jazeerah because of the lies.

It did seem a little curious that the number of signatories was the same. In one report their is a date of mid march, which may have been when the Frenchman was in Libya.

I look forward to the text and video.
